I have been very interested to accidentally come across this Web Site.

I was born in 1934, I think in Scarsdale Hospital and my Parents lived in Hartsdale Towers, so of course I did also.
My Father was an Accountant and travelled daily into NYC.

Both Parents were of British Nationality and Father had worked in NYC since the early 1920′s. We permanently returned to UK in October 1934, so I had no recollection of Hartsdale Towers, exept of course from photographs.

The first time I again visited the area was in 1961 when staying with friends in Scarsdale. We drove past Hartsdale Towers on just one occasion and I was informed that it was being used as Student Teachers accomodation, or possibly there was some type of education taking place in the building ?

It is therefore very interesting to now read that the building has been refurbished back to it’s original purpose of high quality apartments.

Unfortunately there is no possiblity of my reurning to USA at the present time, so I am not in the market for a property. However, just thought you may be interested in my story.

If you have a Sales Brochure you could send to me by Post it would be much appreciated. I do have several photographs of the area taken in 1934 (one of the Dog Cemetery), so it will be interesting to compare with those of today. My address is :-

    Thanks for your help
