		<description>As I said in the blog there are a lot of people who WILL NOT subject themselves to a 2 hour slog to work and and home again every single day.  

They are willing to sacrifice size for convenience and vital FAMILY time. What good is the big house with the big yard if you are never there to enjoy it?   


Right now its a great time to buy. Interest rates on fixed loans are extremely low. The prices are down significantly off their highs and the buyers who qualify are back making sensible offers. 

Many are first-time buyers who are entry-level.  Quite a few are cashing out from more expensive locations such as Brooklyn and parts of Manhattan.  The commute from lower Westchester can be comparable time-wise and far superior comfort-wise to the commute from Brooklyn and even parts of Riverdale and upper Manhattan. 

Some of the villages and cities in lower Westchester have &quot;walkable&quot; neighborhoods. You hardly need your car.  That is also a major attraction for former city dwellers who really don&#039;t like hopping in the car to do anything.</description>
