The Place: The Women’s Club of White Plains – 303 Ridgeway – White Plains

The Time: 9AM to 1PM
Cleaning out your house? Downsizing? Do you have gently used furnishings that don’t fit into those plans? Perhaps you should donate your gently used furnishings so a needy family can have a place to sit or a bed to sleep in by bringing it to the Furniture Sharehouse furniture drive on Nov. 21.
The following is a short list of items that are particularly needed:
- Mattresses and Box Springs
- Sofas and Armchairs
- Dressers
- Tables and Chairs
- Side-Tables
- TVs no bigger than 27″
- Microwaves, Rugs, Lamps
Items that the Furniture Sharehouse can not accept:
- Ripped or Stained Upholstery
- King Sized Beds
- Sleeper Sofas
- Appliances
- Office Furniture
- Outdoor Furniture
- Oversized or Heavy Items
- Household Goods or Clothing

If you want to volunteer for this event – and volunteers are needed – or if you have other questions – you can call 834-1294 or email at [email protected].
The Furniture Sharehouse works with government agencies to help those in need furnish their homes. By working within these agencies, they ensure that the neediest of families get serviced. By creating the Sharehouse the issue of being able to store large amounts of furnishings for these families to properly utilize was solved.
