When I was a kid I used to go into NYC with my mother. It was the late 70’s . New York had more grit than glamour back then. It had been through a fiscal crisis and to my very young eyes it seemed a rather dirty, ugly place. But my mother would take me to museums and places like St. Patrick’s Cathedral. When I mentioned how “old” the city looked, she would say – “just look up” and would point to the amazing architectural detail that the pre-war buildings had to offer.
The same is true for Westchester, we just sometimes need to “look up” and take notice. This building from the turn of the century is a perfect example…
