If you live in the Hudson River Valley, you quickly get used to different cloud formations. Sometimes the clouds just roll into Westchester from the Hudson River and it can be quite a site. It makes a clear blue sky seem almost boring. It’s that constantly changing landscape that makes this part of the country so interesting and picturesque.
This was the case last weekend when I was taking photos on the Hudson River. I admit I was tempting fate by playing a game of “chicken” with an on coming storm. Oh – and I made it back under cover just before the storm hit. Don’t know about the people in the boat though…. However the water was quite calm, which is a bit unusual. Generally clouds like this produce a very choppy river.
