It comprises a series of small suburban communities such as Club Pointe, and The Greens which are located on the east and west boundaries of North St (Route 127). Directly to the west is the larger Rosedale neighborhood as well as Gedney Meadows and Gedney Farms. These are all suburban communities which tend to have large lots (0.2-0.5 acres) winding streets and fewer sidewalks than close-in or downtown locations.  These neighborhoods are great for walking and biking as well as peace and quiet. It is what many refer to as  a “leafy” suburb.

Commuting from White Plains…

By car…

White Plains is known to be centrally located. As such, there are many commuting options and the location at 17 Maplemoor Ln is no exception. The home is near the southern tip of White Plains and has very easy access by car to CT (via I-95, I-684, the Hutch) NJ (via I-287 to the TZ Bridge) and NYC (via I-95, The Hutch)


The White Plains train station is on the Metro-North Harlem line and is located about 2.5 miles north of this home. It takes  33 minutes by express train to get to Grand Central Station.

Some residents also make use of the Mamaroneck Train Station since it is about the same distance from the North Street/Rosedale neighborhoods. Trains from Mamaroneck run on the New Haven line. Trains run a bit less frequently at that location and it is about 35 minutes to Grand Central.
