Many people think of White Plains mostly as a either a place to live or a place to go for fine dining and first-class shopping. However, White Plains has two populations. A live-in population that is a bit less than 60,000 and a much larger commuter population in the downtown area.
A few weeks ago I took a couple of night shots of the Tappan Zee Bridge from Tarrytown NY. One evening about 10 days ago, I found myself near the same location once again just as the sun was going down.

n the full bloom of summer, Manor Park in Larchmont literally is alive with color while small boats dot the landscape on the Long Island Sound. The feel was different that day with the cloudy sky and the water and rocks somewhat forbidding.
