Photography

Photography is a hobby of mine. I think photos can tell one a great deal about an area. Some of these shots are a bit artistic, but others are designed to show off the character of some of Westchester’s great cities, villages and towns. Have fun with this and see the beauty of the Hudson River Valley.

Just for Fun in Winter

Let it snow…at least that’s what my Siberian Huskies say!

Westchester NY weather was cold, but we had a reprieve on the amount precipitation.A lot of residents had their fingers crossed for February - but it was not to be. And although we all grumbled about digging out, my pups were as pleased as punch to have some quality time with the white stuff.

First Snow with my Snow Dogs….

I have two Siberain Huskies and a husky mix who for obvious reasons LOVE the snow. The colder the better and the heavier the snow fall, the happier they are.

The Rockefeller Preserve - Sleepy Hollow NY

Walking on the wild side at the Rockefeller Preserve – Fall Foliage in Sleepy Hollow

Autumn in lower Westchester NY is a very colorful event. There is something about the color of the leaves and how it lights up the sky that I find very compelling. Forget leaf peeping in Vermont - our season peaks later, but the foliage is just as amazing.
