The boats were lined up in the water for the fireworks on the 4th of July. They were situated to take advantage of the shows that were happening on BOTH sides of the river. Irvington and Tarrytown on our side and Nyack on the western side.
The photo above was taken on July 4 2012 in Tarrytown. The display took place in Tarrytown’s “sister village” Sleepy Hollow. Planting myself on the River Walk near Hudson Harbor ensured me a front row seat.
Happy Independence Day everyone! I was at the Kensico Dam in Valhalla last night and the following video is compilation of still photos from that event. Last year the event boasted over 20,000 attendants.
The Yonkers waterfront is a new hotspot for new construction and high-end living. It boasts such restaurants Xaviars H2O on the Hudson. A great place to spend the evening and watch the boats on the river.
